About GemCollective
A marketplace built on transparency
GemCollective exists because buying gemstones shouldn't require a background in geology to avoid being misled. Every stone we list comes with honest disclosures — origin, treatment, weight, dimensions — written plainly, not buried in fine print.
We work exclusively with independent gem cutters who take their craft seriously. These are not commercial operations running high-volume inventory. Each cutter works with individual stones, applies their own expertise, and sells directly through this platform.
When you buy through GemCollective, you know who cut the stone. You can read their background, see their other work, and contact them with questions. That accountability matters to us, and we think it should matter to you.

I cut gemstones with a focus on getting the most light out of them.
It starts with the rough. I work with both natural and lab-grown material, but I'm selective about what I cut. If it's not going to turn into something special, I leave it alone.
From there, it's all about precision. Every angle has a job, and getting those right is what brings a stone to life.
Some stones call for classic cuts, others need something more modern. I follow what suits the material and let the stone lead the direction.
For commission work, the design comes out of a conversation. We talk through what you want, what the stone can do, and land on something that makes sense for both.
Each piece is cut one at a time, with attention where it counts.
Hi, I'm Edward. I'm a hobby gemcutter who favors odd materials and even shapes. Quartz is my muse, fashioned in a 3-point cut, and dazzling on display. My hope is to share some light with you.

My work is centered on enhancing the natural beauty of gemstones, celebrating what makes each one unique. I love sourcing distinctive stones and pairing them with designs that let them speak. Natural crystal growth writes a story in the form of inclusions, colors, and other light interaction. I enjoy telling this story through custom and themed designs.
